Makeshift AFC So Close To Another Win!

With what was a pretty makeshift side fielded against Haywards Heath on this Bank Holiday Monday due to injuries, suspensions and unavailability, Uckfield more than held their own against the current best team in the league.

With three U18's & two U21's drafted in for the game Uckfield matched their opponents across the field, but with their final touch in the opponents half letting them down. It was the home side maybe just edging the early exchanges, but with the Uckfield back line looking strong and repelling every attack thrown at them, both sides went in at the break even handed.
