Ards Rugby Club pulled together on Saturday to ensure all 4 Senior teams got teams out to fulfill all fixtures which therefore enabled any result at Limavady to stand.

Stewart Porter and Gerry Flynn took a much changed 1st XV to Banbridge to to Omar a re-arranged Ulster a League game.

Joe Kelly and Alan Benson took a young 2nd XV to Dungannon for their last match of the season.

Ian Presho gathered his troops and got his team out for a home watch v Coleraine.

Although all the results went against the 1sts,2nds and 3rds the team spirit and commitment to Ards RFC was of the highest order....well done to the coaches, managers and players!

All the effort was worthwhile as the old legs and heads of Ards 4th XV aka The Black Knights secured Ards Rugby Club's place at Ravenhill for the McCambley Cup Final on Saturday 26th April versus Cookstown 1st XV with a 13 - 6 win over a Limavady 'Saracens'' 3rd XV.
