In what the club believes is a unique concept in non-league circles, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton United are running their open photographic competition for a second year.
Entitled ‘Take Two’, this year’s competition broadly follows last year’s format; it is only open to amateurs - persons who do not earn their living from photography – and must feature an aspect of the game, ground, fans or other aspect of the Evo-Stik Premier Division match with Grantham Town on September 15th 2012.
Persons wishing to be considered for the competition should register their interest by obtaining an entry form and ground entry pass; this can be done by sending an email to communications@ashtonutd.com
Last year’s winner, Greig Bertram, travelled down from the Fylde coast for the competition; other entrants came from across Manchester and Cheshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire. Greig’s winning entry is shown.
Abig thanks goes to Press Officer and Club Historian Jez Sayle for organising this event for the second time.
