The four teams all stood together arm in arm for 2 minutes silence before today’s Remembrance Day games. This was observed impeccably by all teams. Well done boys you were a credit to Aston Park Rangers.
When the game got under way Mark Davies team stormed too a 2-0 early lead with goals from Micky Thomas and the impressive Danny Morgan. However just like the weather turning to rain the team then had a poor second half and let in 5 goals without reply.
The second game saw the debut of William Clements in Goal. The Myndda Isa manager was so impressed with one of his saves from a free kick that he texted later in the day to say how impressed he was with his save and performance.
The boys tried hard in the second game but were beaten 4-1 with Danny scoring the goal against a well drilled Myndda Isa team.
Mark Evans team could not match the impressive performances from the previous games against Myndda Isa and went down 6-2 in the first game. The goal scorers were Liam shotton and Jake Azimi.
In the second game they improved and came back from being 3-0 down to finally lose 6-3. The goal scorers were once again Liam and Jake with Ryan Evans scoring the last goal.
