Jonathan North joined The Millers back in October 2022, and kept a clean sheet on his debut with a 3-0 victory over Haringey Borough, where Northy made a vital save at 0-0, which provided us the springboard to grab the victory.

In his first season with us, Northy went on to make 37 appearances, keeping 16 clean sheet in the process. We secured fourth and a play-off place, which saw us travel to Canvey Island in the Semi-Final. After 120 minutes, nothing could seperate the sides, and the game went to penalties. Two fantastic saves from Northy sealed a 4-2 penalty victory over the Gulls which set up a play-off final away at Hornchurch.

We went on to defeat Hornchurch 1-0 to secure our place in the Vanarama National south for the first time in our history. This season Jonathan went on to make 59 appearances in all comps, achieving 11 clean sheets, helping Aveley to a play-off place.

After a phenomenal season, Northy has decided to retire and everyone wishes Jonathan all the best and hope to see him back at Parkside cheering on the lads.
