The club is delighted to announce that creative forward player Jordan Cotterill has signed an extended deal at Barry Town United, which will see him contracted to Jenner Park until 2019.
Initially arriving in the 2012-13 season, Jordan has made 101 appearances for the Barry first team, scoring 57 goals along the way, including a number of important and memorable free-kicks.
Central to the way the team play and highly-regarded by his fellow players and fans alike, Jordan scooped three individual awards last season, including Gavin Chesterfield's Manager's Player of the Year prize.
Cotterill commented: "I'm delighted to have signed a two year deal with the club. I've found a home here over the past few seasons.
"I'm looking forward to getting back to full fitness and hopefully making a big impact on the JD Welsh Premier League".
Manager Chesterfield added: "Jordan has produced consistently over the last couple of seasons and he's very much earned this deal.
"His style of play is suited to ours and we're looking forward to welcoming him back into the squad following knee surgery in the not-so-distant future.
"Jordan's performances and how he has matured over recent seasons make him very much a leader within the squad and I'm delighted to have secured his services for the next two years".
