Anthony Kempster nominated for Kent RFU Mini Rugby Volunteer of the Year

Beccehamian RFC are delighted to announce that Anthony Kempster has been nominated for Kent RFU Mini Rugby Volunteer of the Year.

Beccs are delighted and very proud to inform you that Anthony Kempster has been nominated and on a short list of three people for the prestigious Kent RFU "Mini Volunteer of the Year Award for the 2015/16 season.

In Kent's own words, ""this award will go to a volunteer that has been nominated by their club as making a significant contribution to the mini section of their club."

Anthony's richly deserved recognition by the County and contribution to the club, particularly for the benefit of the mini section has been nothing short of colossal. His boundless energy and enthusiasm continues to be infectious. Some of the many roles and achievements include;

- Co-ordinating Beccs club-wide Guinness World Record in 2013.
- Minis Fixtures Secretary from 2014 to date.
- Mini Festival chair and organiser from 2014 to date, including introduction of Autumn development and floodlit festivals, and March annual festivals. The latter taking place on consecutive weekends attracting over 80 teams from 40plus clubs in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

The 2016 recipients will be honored at an awards reception and dinner hosted by the Kent RFU at the Shepard Neame Brewery, Faversham on Wednesday 1st June 2016.
