Beccs are delighted to announce the first club recipients of Green Kids First Laces

As part of the Beccehamian RFC drive to support putting kids first, and being an Old Mutual Wealth Kids First Pledged rugby club. Old mutual wealth has created;

Green Kids First Laces.
The green laces help to recognise and reward, on a weekly basis, the players in U7-U13 Age Grades who are demonstrating rugby union’s core values; teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline & sportsmanship. Here’s how you can use them:
Coaches identify a player aged 6 – 13 who demonstrates rugby unions core values, working in conjunction with other club coaching colleagues.
The winners are rewarded with a pair of green laces and a player certificate, explaining how they have demonstrated rugby unions core values.
The initiative is a positive reward for the kids and helps the club raise awareness of what we are doing to inspire a lifelong bond with our sport.[/i]
