Berkhamsted at long last know they are at home to Morpeth Town on Saturday 6th February, kick off 3pm at Broadwater.

Morpeth won through on Monday night with a 2-0 win over the current FA Vase holders North Shields. They achieved it despite conceding ground advantage to their opponents, following several postponements at their own ground. Morpeth have only lost two league games this season and currently sit third in the EBAC Northern League division 1, which has provided 5 of the last 6 FA Vase winners. They are still favourites for the title, as they have five games in hand on the two teams above them - caused by no less than 13 attempts to play their last two Vase matches.

On Saturday Berkhamsted are expecting their biggest crowd since the club was formed in 2009. Home fans are urged to walk down or use the town centre car parks and get to the ground early. Local businesses have rallied to the Comrades’ cause with 8 firms sponsoring the match. Even with two turnstiles open, it is likely to be very busy, so if people have the right change it would be helpful. Admission is £6, with seniors only £3 and no charge for accompanied young children. If the scores are level after 90 minutes, there will be 30 minutes of extra time.
