Berwick Middle School has won the annual tournament run by Berwick Rugby Club. The tournament saw Berwick Middle compete against Tweedmouth Middle, Belford Middle and Longridge.

After the round robin tournament was over the Berwick Middle School emerged as the victors.

The Davy Scott Trophy is sponsored by Castelgate Catering Ltd's owner David Scott. It is competed for annually and forms part of the efforts of Berwick Rugby Club to provide rugby for all the schools in the Berwick Borough.

Club Development Officer Dougie Hall who organised the tournament commented "This tournament is one of my highlights each year. We have been very lucky with the weather again and to see over 70 youngsters running around enjoying rugby was great to see. Hopefully some of them will come out to the Club to join our Midi Section so that they can continue to benefit from the healthy exercise and discipline that rugby brings."
