Can you bring along a friend who is new to the club with you on Sunday? If so both you and your mate(s) will receive a little present as a thank you.

As you know it's our Rugby Union Fun Day / Give Rugby Union a TRY day on Sunday between 10:30 and 4:30 and the weather is already settling into a proper rugby climate for us - in other words it's raining AGAIN.

We want YOU to come along on Sunday and also we want you to try and bring a friend along to Give Rugby a TRY. If you can do that and you and your pal sign up to do a rugby training/taster session you will both get a special gift from the club.
We have about a hundred gifts to hand out so come early and bring you pal or pals and get one each.

We have rugby sessions for children aged about 6 to 14 split into groups so you will be with children of similar ages. One session for each age group is in the morning followed by extra ones (for each group) starting at 1, 2 and 3 and you can go on as many as you want to at just a £1 a time.
The Mayor will be there and will be officially opening up proceedings with Coronation Street and Emmerdale actor, David Crellin, so bring your autograph book along with your kit and boots.

As well as the rugby sessions we have lots of other FREE events such as rugby skill games, the Kadoo assault course, a kicking workshop, Girls' rugby demonstration and TAG rugby games to watch and take part in.
Sharky (Sale Sharks' mascot) will be there to say hi as is Bolton 2012's mascot Flame and they will be renewing their friendly rivalry with a race over the assault course.

We are also hoping that BBC North West will be there to film us trying to set a record for Bolton's Biggest Scrum. Can we get to 200? With your help of course we can; can't we?

As a final treat we'll have face painting and the opportunity to win some great prizes (tickets to watch Sale Sharks in the LV= Cup and a ball signed by John Inverdale) and also some brand new Bolton RUFC T-shirts to buy for just a Sky Diver! (£5)

Avenue Street is the place to be on Sunday so get down there and start the season with a celebration of rugby. Come along and feel the Bolton Rugby Buzz!
