Tom made his debut starting at fly half against championship academy Ealing Trailfinders. Tom was spotted at a Boston 1st XV fixture earlier on in the season and invited down to Nottingham Academy by squad manager Mark Cleaver. He has continued to impress during the weekly training sessions and was offered the 10 shirt on Saturday.

After the game Tom said "it has been a great opportunity to test myself against championship calibre opposition - it was certainly fast paced rugby!"
