The RFL work locally via a number of development area groupings. Our area covers the Bolton, Bury and Rochdale areas. Each year there is an annual awards event to recognise the hard work put in by local clubs. This year, the improvements at the Broncos have been acknowledged in a number of categories!
The club or players have been recognised in the following categories:
Young Player of Year – Blake Roberts
Volunteer of Year – Jean Palin
Club of Year – Bury Broncos
The event this year will be held at the Flying Horse Hotel on Sunday 25th November, 2pm-3.30pm. Tickets cost £5 on the door or £3 guest list (let Mike Palin know if you wish to attend) which includes pie and peas dinner.
WE NEED YOUR VOTES!
Voting this year will also be partly based on a public vote for the Player of the Year award and Young Player of the Year award with the vote counting towards 50% of the final decision! We need everyone to vote here:
