Lots going on as ever - make sure you give this a read...

Club AGM

The Club AGM will take place on Friday, February 3rd at 7.15pm at Stand Cricket Club, Whitefield. We urge all members, players, parents of youngsters and general RL fans to come down to the meeting and see what our future plans are.

We are also exceptionally keen to attract new people to the committee. If interested, please get in touch – all the details can be found at the following LINK.

Junior training

Junior training is going well. Sessions will take place at Broad Oak for a few more Wednesday evenings after which we hope to move training outdoors to Bury athletics track. Sunday morning training starts at 10am on Sunday 22nd at Philips High School, Whitefield – all primary school aged youngsters are welcome! The juniors will start playing games on March 21st. See: LINK for more details.

Arrival of Junior Playing kit

We’ve received the first ever Bury Broncos junior playing kit – pictures can be found on this LINK. We’d like to thank the sponsors and also Sport England for their support.

Open Age Pre-season

The club are in the midst of some hugely positive discussions around a new coaching structure and significantly improving the open age set-up – we’ll hopefully announce some positive news soon. Pre-season will begin in February and will hopefully be at Bury Athletics Track, outdoors, under lights. Please encourage anyone you know who might be interested to get in-touch – see LINK for contact details.

And finally . . . a blast from the past!

We have been lent a huge amount of press cuttings and photographs relating to the old Bury ARLFC and Prestwich ARLFC club which operated in the 1980s into the 1990s. We’ll hopefully be able to upload some of the material onto the website and maybe show some of it off at the upcoming AGM. As a taster, some material can be seen at the following LINK.
