Sadly this season has been one too much. Having already cancelled/postponed three games. With player numbers diminishing and our hand being forced by the RFL we simply cannot continue to be.

I want to thank everyone in the East RL, especially Rob Ashton, for their support and help from the off. It is a great competition that has been built here and long may it continue. Even without the support we should be receiving from the RFL.

The club has been a huge part of my life for the last five years and I want to thank each and every person who has pulled on a Lions jersey across the years. Especially those who have shown the same commitment as me and really wanted to make this club a success. Namely Josh, Justin and Dex. I also want to send huge thanks to Nick Tiley of Cambridge FD, our sponsor who has stuck by the club and me despite all our troubles. Without these guys and Nick we would have fallen much sooner than we have.
