Last Saturday; the international weekend and St. Valentines Day decimated the Cathay's squad and only 17 players made their way to Caedelyn Park to face a strong Rhiwbina team.

The final score of 48-17 to Rhiwbina didn't reflect the hard work and total commitment put in by every Cathay's player and this effort was much appreciated by the travelling band of Cathay's Vice Presidents. (Well two actually)

Some good points to note regarding last Saturday's game: Not throwing in the towel after falling behind in the first 10 minutes, a good scrummage performance by the make shift pack of forwards, scoring 3 good tries, Aki and Simon playing in the backs, Hywel playing his first game this season, Jez having a good game at scrum half, I won the raffle in Rhiwbina Recreational club after the game and of course the endless supply of VP mints from Hedges. (Paid for by vouchers supplied with his job seekers allowance)

And finally, the burning question on everyone's lips last Saturday was: where have all the second rows gone?
