Williams (pictured in the blue) returns to the Scholars after a short spell at Hednesford Town. The midfielder will be remembered by supporters for his outstanding displays at right-back during Chasetown's play-off push last season.

Sam Belcher also joins Dave Stringer’s men from Rugby Town. The midfielder made his name in 2011/12 season where he predominantly figured for Blue Square Bet Conference North side Hinckley United before spending spells at Nuneaton and Bedworth respectively.

The tough tackling Belcher then signed for Rugby Town in November 2012 becoming a ‘fans favourite’ before suffering a ruptured cruciate ligament injury shortly after which kept him out of action for two-seasons.

Following short stays at Nuneaton Griff and Rugby Town once more, Belcher has signed to boost the Scholars midfield options.

Both players are available for selection and go straight into the squad for Saturday’s away trip to Carlton Town.
