Fawley took the lead from an excellent flowing move. 0 v 5 Chineham came back strongly and were rewarded by a try under the sticks from centre Ian Beassant, Rasher added the extras 7 v 5. Chineham stretched the lead with a try from Matt Heley, converted by Rasher. 14 v 5 Back came Fawley with another nice try finished off by their pacey winger who stepped nicely to beat the last defender. 14 v 12. half time Chineham made several changes at half time including the entire backrow and both props. Playing down hill in the 2nd half Chineham started to dominate territory and possession. Fawley defended manfully but gaps started to appear and Chineham ran in 3 unanswered tries in the second half, with ian Beassant picking up his 2nd of the afternoon, along with Olly Reading, and Alder Prop. Rob Baldwin adding one conversion, and Spenser missing the other two. Final score 31 v 12. An enjoyable game that was played in good spirit, and well reffed. Man of the match was Ian Beassant for his brace of tries. With others worth of a special mention being Mark Garner, and Rasher for both work rate and ability.
