The Under 13s is for any player starting Year 8 in September of the current school year.
We meet every Sunday from 10am at The Meads for 1-2 hours of fun, athletic and constructive games of rugby, all crafted by qualified coaches who deliver training in line with RFU guidelines.
We have lots of fixtures and matches against other teams throughout the season too, so make sure you check-in with the coaches in the "contacts" tab of our website to make sure we're there.
If you are interested in taking part, why not contact the coaches in the "contacts" tab on our web page to find out more. There is no need to pay up front - we're happy for you to come along to your first couple of sessions to give it a try!
We can't wait to welcome you to our local community club.
Just wear sportswear that you don't mind getting a little muddy. Bring a bottle of water and a pair of boots. But not to worry of you don't have those - we have a 2nd hand kit store you can visit at the clubhouse anyway.
With lots of local children attending Chipstead RFC every Sunday, you'll make new local friends and build your confidence in a sport which teaches the five core values of our game: TREDS.
TEAMWORK
Teamwork is essential to our sport. We welcome all new team members and include all because working as a team enriches our lives. We play selflessly: working for the team, not for ourselves alone, both on and off the field.
RESPECT
Mutual respect forms the basis of our sport. We hold in high esteem our sport, its values and traditions and earn the respect of others in the way we behave.
ENJOYMENT
Enjoyment is the reason we play and support rugby union. We encourage players to enjoy training and playing. We use our sport to adopt a healthy lifestyle and build life skills.
DISCIPLINE
Strong discipline underpins our sport. We ensure that our sport is one of controlled physical endeavour and that we are honest and fair.
SPORTSMANSHIP
Sportsmanship is the foundation upon which rugby union is built. We uphold the rugby tradition of camaraderie with teammates and opposition.
