It is not often that you can go into the weekend fixtures with two of our sides gunning to win their respective League Titles
Today we have the our senior team, whom compete in the Lincolnshire league. The players have performed well all season and know one final win today will see the side home. With a goal difference of over 100, over 50 better off than their nearest challengers who visit the Linden Homes Club today has been a truly fantastic effort. The goals have been well spread amongst the players with nearly all of them contributing.
A win today will hopefully act as a further springboard and provide the catalyst for the side to move on further but it is a waiting game as the club goes through the process of its application for a higher league.
Tomorrow the under 18s are in action at the Linden Homes Club (10:45am Kick off) where they entertain Retford in the Lincolnshire Intermediate League, knowing a win will secure the league title for the North league in the competition.
This is very good for a side mainly comprising of under 17s who have shown a great degree of development over the season. They have had there stutters but this is only to be expected with a side that continues to develop and have become proud members of Cleethorpes Town.
It is the intention to push the side into the higher league within the competition for next season and at the same time look to push the players development so we can see them play in our first team in future seasons. To aid this the club is looking seriously of establishing a reserve side that will provide route for these young players to push into and adapt into open aged football.

So it is a massive weekend down at the Linden Homes Club
