The Dragons Dream team

The Dragons Dream team

Andy Rowlands1 Oct 2013 - 10:28

This is my(Andy Rowlands "Chairman) Coventry Dragons dream team based on all the players that have represented the green machine over the past 3 seasons judged 95% on looks and 5% on ability.

It is just a bit of fun so don’t worry if haven’t made it.
You can post your own dream team below if you disagree.

FULL-BACK – Calvin Devoisey
Did you know? Devoisey is the most capped and tattooed player in Dragons history.
WING – Karl Ledington
Did you know? Ledington scored the fastest try the Dragons have ever seen it took a blistering 6.3 seconds from the ref starting the game.
CENTRE - Tom Lowe
Did you know? Lowe Is a strong and agile runner but is in this team on looks alone
CENTRE - Brook Foster
Did you know? Foster who has not been seen that much during the 2013 season makes his way into the dream team after scoring 38 trys in 14 gamed during the 2011 season.
WING – Cam Tune
Did you know? Tune won the coaches award at the end of the 2013 season for his outstanding week in week out tough defensive and dynamic attacking performances.
STAND-OFF – Dean Jon Thompson
Did you know? Thompson had to be selected for the dream team as he is such a pre madona that if he was left out he would have an official hissy fit. (He is quite good though!)
SCRUM-HALF – Mark Hyslop
Did you know? Hyslop (now retired) once signed for a club when they bought him a washing machine.
PROP – Lee Ashford
Did you know? Ashford once made the National 3 dream team as centre of the month
HOOKER – Sean Roberts
Did you know? Roberts will only pass to his fellow Worcesterians. The other lads have to pretend to be “The Alfa G” or “The BIG Ball” if the are going to get a pass.
PROP – Dave Whiting
Did you know? Whiting cleaned up at the 2013 awards night winning “Players Player” and “Man of Steel” (however he did not win man of the match in the grand final even though he tried to claim the award)
SECOND ROW – Rob Wood
Did you know? Wood has vowed never to drink alcohol until the Dragons win the Midlands Premier final.
SECOND ROW – Lewis Darcy
Did you know? Darcy gives the most full on 3 minutes every time he enters the pitch. However he then needs to be interchanged off.
LOOSE FORWARD – Aron Jarvis
Did you know? Jarvis likes to try an offload.
