Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th April

It’s almost time for Darlington Rugby Football Club to host it’s annual ‘Rugby Festival’, this is an exciting year for DRFC as we have a newly established infrastructure, which is proving to be successful, and hopefully that will apply to this years festival as well which I have no doubts about!
With that comes a whole new outlook, management team AND a superb new overflow car park so no more worries about getting stuck!!!
We have been working hard to get the wheels in motion and make this years festival one of, if not the most successful to date, but this can’t be done without participants.
The format for the Festival is laid out below but please do not hesitate to get in touch via email or phone if you would like to know anything else prior to entering a team.
Saturday 29th April
Festival of rugby for age groups, Under 16, Under 15, Under 14 & Under 13. Time of commencement is TBC depending on entries into age categories, we are hoping for an earlier start this year so please expect this to be between 1030 / 1130.
Sunday 30th April:
Festival of rugby for the following age groups:
Under 12s, Under 11s, Under 10s, Under 9, Under 8s & Under 7s. Time of commencement is TBC depending on entries into age categories, we are hoping for an earlier start this year so please expect this to be between 1000 / 1100.
As always, ALL teams are welcomed into the festival but in order to run a smoother festival this year we are limiting to 12 teams per age group so if you’d like to attend you must get your entries returned as quickly as possible to avoid any disappointment.
Entry is £25.00 per team and as an early bird offer we are offering clubs a discount of one team free if you can guarantee us 4 teams from your club at any age group.
I look forward to your replies and even more so seeing you on either Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th April.
Good Luck .
Volunteers are required as usual to make this event the best experience for all participants and spectators. The weekend is always supported well by our members and their families and this year can be even better but not without YOU. Our festival volunteer's t-shirt sponsor this year is Beanies and they have already been made - to secure yours, come and help make this the best festival ever!
