With Ashley Carew & Kenny Beaney still not fit Gavin Rose named the same players that had defeated Tonbridge Angels on Easter Monday.
The first chance arrived in the 8th minute as the normally lethal Dipo Akinyemi headed a Nyren Clunis cross wide of the target when all alone 12 yards out.
A few minutes later Grant Smith in the Bognor goal fumbled an effort from Jordan Hibbert but reacted quickly to avert any danger. Bognor then won a corner. From it a header was cleared from by Kevin James as the game swung from end to end.
The two sides were generally cancelling themselves out although a smart turn and shot from Dipo Akinyemi just shy of the half hour whistled just wide.
Bognor almost immediately had a good chance at the other end but Green headed wide when well placed whilst, for The Hamlet, Nyren Clunis fired wide after a terrific cross field pass from the excellent Ethan Pinnock.
Clunis had another chance but was crowded out as Dulwich started to take a grip on the game. After forcing 3 corners in quick succession, Roman Michael-Percil had an effort brilliantly pushed wide by Smith.
However, this was the prelude to the opening goal in the 41st minote. Bognor failed to clear theit lines, Clunis lobbed the ball back into the box and an unmarked Matt Drage headed home his first goal for the club on his 58th appearance.
Dulwich pushed for a second and right on half time Clunis made another break but the final ball let him down.
Half Time 1-0
The second half saw the visitors on top early on and Preston Edwards was called into action to clutch a header from Pearce and a header from Robson was kicked off the line.
However, there then followed an extraordinary miss from Akinyemi as he showed composure to turn inside, take the ball wide to open up the goal but roll his shot wide.
Unperturbed by the miss, Akinyemi struck for the fourth time in three games just minutes later. A fine through ball released him on the left and his left footed effort beat the advancing Smith to double the lead in the 57th minute.
With a two goal lead Dulwich were content to sit back and look to pick off the visitors as they chased the game and their defensive diligence, led by an outstanding performance from Ethan Pinnock in nullifying Jason Prior, meant that they were largely untroubled.
Tuck fired over for the visitors and a quickly taken free kick failed to catch out the alert Preston Edwards but Dulwich also had chances as Akinyemi forced a good low save from Smith.
The final chance for Bognor to get back in the game saw Rutherford get away on their left but his cross ricocheted to safety over the bar.
