Widely advertised in the local press, to encourage both our own supporters & the local community to attend, there is a choice of two days for YOU to be part of the consultation and have your say.
The first is on Thursday 27th November, from 3pm to 8pm.
And if you cannot make that time you will have a second opportunity on Saturday 29th November from 10am to 3pm; which is right up to kick-off when we are at home to Kingstonian.
The events are being held at our Champion Hill Stadium, in the club house.
The full page advertisements carried the following message:
Dulwich Hamlet FC is a vital part of the community within East Dulwich. Securing a sustainable future for the club to remain at Champion Hill, as part of a mixed-use development, is a key aim of Hadley Property Group, the current owners.
We recently presented the local community with very initial proposals. We have been assessing your feedback and working with local community groups, residents, supporters and the club itself to further refine our proposals and we want to hear your thoughts.
We now have a set of more detailed proposals which we would love to hear your views on. Full details will be provided on:
* New proposed stadium on the already developed AstroTurf site;
*Protecting and maintaining Green Dale Fields, in addition to improving access with the creation of a new, linear park;
*Increased community benefits and access for a much wider range of local residents compared to current facilities;
* Creation of a new, public open space;
*High quality homes.
We are extremely excited to be presenting our more detailed proposals for securing the future of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club. We would love to hear your views and urge you to attend the upcoming exhibition to have your say and talk through the proposals with the project team.
