Simply EVERY PENNY raised by the totally independent "Dulwich Hamlet 12th Man" campaign goes directly into a ring-fenced pot for GAVIN ROSE to use to strengthen and secure his squad, on top of what the Football Club owner sets his budget at.
It CANNOT be used to pay other bills that might crop up, or to 'top up' the set playing budget, if it is ever cut.
The first success was giving extra money to secure Danny Carr on contract.
The second success was donating the money to place another promising youngster Abdul Mansaray on contract, too.
Now for their THIRD success...CONNOR FRENCH,who made his debut last Saturday against Sittingbourne. His sgining, from Walton & Hersham was ONLY possible thanks to the funding of his wages by the "Dulwich Hamlet 12th Man"!
I'm sure you will all agree, this is absolutely amazing!
His transfer has featured in today's edition of the "Southwark News":
Fans fund secure ex-Millwall man
A fund set up by Dulwich Hamlet fans will pay the wages of an ex-Millwall youth product who Gavin Rose hopes will shoot his side to the title.
Whilst eyes were on Daniel Carr's high profile trial at Liverpool Dulwich added to their squad with the signing of striker Connor French who made his debut from the bench on Saturday.
French has been playing at Walton & Hersham more recently but he was part of the Millwall youth set-up before plying his trade at non-league sides Concord Rangers, Tooting & Mitcham, Merstham and Chipstead.
French is the first player whose wages will be fully funded by the '12th Man1 fund, a pot of cash raised by supporters and given directly to manager Gavin Rose to enhance the playing squad.
The money has already secured Carr and Abdul Mansaray on contracts which should securte the club cash should they move on to a professional side.
But French is the first player whose wages will be completely funded from the fund which has delighted Shaun Dooley who helped set up the scheme just before Christmas.
He told the News: "I never thought we would get this much money. The scheme is still in its infancy but people have been unbelievable. We have regular short meetings directly with Gavin and we are already seeing the fruits of what we are doing. We managed to help with Danny and Abdul so they won't just walk away and the club get nothing, and now we have a player on the pitch fully funded by the fund. So now it's there for all to see in action just where our cash is going to."
