ETUFC - CODE OF CONDUCT

East Thurrock United is a club which over the past few years has grown with the introduction of many teams being associated with the club. This is something which we are all proud of; East Thurrock United is an established club in the community with representation in many leagues including mini soccer, ladies and senior football.

To allow the continued success, and to encourage East Thurrock United to grow it is vitally important that all who represent and support the club follow this Code of Conduct.

Youth football is an important factor in the future of East Thurrock United and one that needs to be protected, abuse and pressure from the sidelines is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. If we are to encourage children to stay and progress then they must enjoy the game.

Coaching and player development is something which we strive to excel in, there will be no future of the club if the youth teams are not seen as important to all.

Safeguarding Children - we have a duty of care towards children, to allow them to enjoy football in a safe and enjoyable environment where there is no abuse, bullying or discrimination - both on and off the pitch.

We want to ensure that everyone has the chance to be involved in football and to be treated with respect regardless of race, religion, sexuality or background.

Everyone who is involved with East Thurrock United have an active role to play both on and off the pitch to ensure our club continues to attract new players and supporters, considering your language and behaviour is key to this when representing the club.

Football is a passionate sport but it is important to remember that being passionate does not mean to disrespect people, and any breach of this Code of Conduct will not be tolerated by East Thurrock United and actions will be taken to prevent it.
