Following the surprise departure of Paul Phillips and Steve Halford on Monday, Glossop North End’s directors met on Tuesday evening and invited Mark Canning to take charge of team affairs for the remainder of the season. We are pleased to let you know that Mark has accepted.
Mark was goalkeeping coach throughout Phillip’s and Halford’s tenure. We are grateful to Mark for giving us certainty until the end of the season and are sure that in return the GNE faithful will give him unwavering support, starting on Saturday vs South Shields.
