Its the Ambers V The Steels in a FA Cup derby day, which see's Chris Hilton bring his Evo Stick South squad to the Windsor Foodservice Stadium for this huge FA Cup derby clash.

Steels visit us on the back of an excellent 2015/16 season , which saw them finish in 7th place (just missing out on a play off place) and a record breaking run in the FA Trophy run which saw them knock out holders North Ferriby, Manager Chris Hilton was rewarded with a 2 year contract at the end of the season.

Steels have opened their Evo Stick campaign off with 2 defeats, but have been without influential midfielder Cory Gregory due to suspension, which ends after today's FA Cup tie.

Steels have a number of familiar faces in their ranks with Richard Tootle, Lee Thompson, Jack Poulton & Ash Burbeary the most notable ex Ambers who will no doubt line up against us.

Mick Godber's side have opened their campaign with 4 wins from 4 , scoring 15 and conceding 1 ...with 8 different goalscorers, despite the excellent early season form we do go into the tie against higher level opposition as underdogs.

The game will be a great gauge of our development and aspirations, Stocksbridge are a club that we have huge respect and admiration for and are relishing the challenge of competing with a team that will pose a big test for our squad.

The prize that awaits the winners is a FA Prize fund award of £1925 and an away trip in the 1st round qualifying to Step 5 NWCFL clubs Squires Gate ( Blackpool) or West Didsbury & Chorlton (Manchester) on Saturday 3rd September.

The Ambers saw suspended Kieran Wells return to action after his 3 match ban , in the mid week win at Armthorpe after sitting out the first 3 games of the season.
