Heanor have added 6ft 2'' Retford midfielder Sam Jones, Jones is a product of Leeds Utd FC, he was there for five years until he was eighteen but suffered a bad injury.

Jones said ''im looking forward to working with the management team and playing with the lads, I was impressed with heanor in the two games I played against them last season, it was always a battle, the fans were great although they gave me a bit of stick and obviously looking at the signings the club are making including keeping Debrouwer, I cant wait to pull on the shirt and be a part of it''

Clarence added '' you don't like to number targets as obviously we had a few but Sam was certainly up there, we felt that he was the best player that we played against last year, he was a power house in midfield that popped up with a goal.
