F.A Coach Mentor 2014/15



New Coach Mentor [b]Announced[/b]

Keith Mayer from the Football Association has been assigned to HJFC as our Coach Mentor for the 2014/15 season.

We are pleased to announce that Keith Mayer is to be the club's Coach Mentor for the 2014/15 season. The Coach/Club Mentoring programme is a new F.A initiative which sees every Charter Standard Community Club being allocated an experienced Mentor who will support the existing coaches that are volunteering at the club. Keith will provide a range of support including guidance, advice, delivering workshops and one to one support.

Keith has a wide range of experience of working in football and here are just a few of his highlights:

- UEFA ‘A’ License Coach and also a FA Quality Assurance Monitor.

- F.A tutor on the Football level 4 Psychology course. UEFA B and Youth Awards 1,2 & 3.

- Previously employed as Director of FA Independent Centre of Excellence.

- Senior National Head Coach for the England Cerebral Palsy squad

- Accompanied Manchester United’s 1st team to South Africa and China (2012).

- Worked with Manchester United Soccer Schools developing and delivering a range of workshops and practicals in India and China.

- Coached in football academies inc. Leeds United and Nottingham Forest as well as Bolton Wanderers Centre of Excellence.

Keith will be attending the club's October Team Managers' meeting and together we will begin to identify how we can best use his time.

This is a great opportunity for all of our existing and new coaches to gain the support from such a highly experienced football professional. We would like to thank Keith in advance for his support and we look forward to working with him.
