To drive the first team forward for the rest of the season, Holmesdale 1956 FC has made four major appointments. Callum O’Shea and Gary Davies join as Assistant Managers, while Ryan Pay joins as First Team Coach; Elliot McManus will support Pay as his assistant First Team Coach.
These exciting appointments bring a wealth of experience and fresh energy to the club:
• Callum O’Shea was previously a club captain at Holmesdale 1956 FC. He represented Ireland at age-grade level and was an assistant at Halls FC before returning to the Dalers as part of the management team.
• Gary Davies also returns to the club as joint assistant manager, having previously held the role as recently as last season. He brings a wealth of first team managerial experience to the role, which will be vital as the team looks to improve its on-field performances.
• Ryan Pay joins as First Team Coach and was another who was previously working with Halls FC before heading to Oakley Road. Ryan has also been a youth team coach in his past and will focus on nurturing both the club’s young talent and experienced players.
• Elliot McManus, is another former player who has been working closely with Ryan Pay at Halls FC as his assistant.
In welcoming the new additions, Holmesdale 1956 FC Chairman Tony Beckingham said “The club is confident that this new coaching setup will help to develop the squad’s talent, improve performance on the pitch, and build a strong foundation for future success.”
Manager and Director of Football Andy Constable added: “We are fortunate that the positive working environment at Holmesdale makes it easy for us to attract talented management and coaching staff, including those who have enhanced their skills elsewhere before returning to The RTL Group Stadium.”
