Holywell Town have captured the signature of ex Blackpool player Josh Roberts from neighbours Flint Town United.
Josh's previous clubs include Tranmere, Airbus and Flint Town United and appeared for Blackpool in a FA Cup match against Southampton in 2010/11 season. He has made 12 apperances for Flint Town United this season and is highly regarded in the North Wales area.
His signature is a great capture for the Wellmen for the season ahead.
Manager John Haseldin said, "I'm really pleased we have managed to sign Josh who is one of, if not, the best young talents in the area. He's struggled to settle anywhere since being released by Blackpool but now he is back at his hometown club, I'm sure he will have a posititve impact with us and add real quality to our squad.
He is predominately left sided but can play down the middle. His way is to play football, he knows no other way with his background and that should fit in well with our style of play.
The lad can't wait to get going and is really looking forward to the challenge and proving a few people wrong."
Holywell Town would like to thank Flint Town United for their help and assitance in the speedy transfer with the paperwork.
