Chosen Hill 33 - 25 Ivybridge
What a second half performance!
Deciding to stay 'on the bus' in the first half cost us dear, with our oppenents going into the second half 26 - 3 up.
Then the fight back began.
Ivybridge opened up a channel on the blind side and prop Tom Williams took the pass to go over the line.
Sone good handling then put Dave Lawson over for a try which Spenser Owen converted.
Then Paul Edwards scored with an attack from a ruck.
Unfortunately Chosen Hill had got the score line up to 33 - 20, but it was the greens that had the last word, when Spenser Owen put full back Simon Ebsworth in for a try.
A disappointment for the whole squad, but it's a young side, who have now shown they are as capable as coach Spenser Owen had known all season.
This should help them to start to really believe in themselves and if they stay together, train and commit who knows what might happen next season.
Well done guys for a fantastic effort.
It wont be easy, it looks like Penryn, Okehampton and Truro will be coming up.
