Non League Day was first launched in 2010 and is always scheduled to coincide with an international break when there is no Premier League or Championship football.
It provides a platform for clubs to promote the importance of affordable volunteer led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side.
With this in mind Leek Town are offering reduced entry to holders of season tickets of ANY Premier, Football League or Conference clubs.
Upon production of a current valid season ticker spectators will be admitted for just £5, rather than the usual single game entry price of £8.
To emphasise our standing as a FA Charter Standard Community Club some of our junior sides will be acting as mascots for the day and there will be penalty shoot-out and crossbar challenge competitions for the juniors held on the pitch held between 1.30 and 2.15 pm organised by first team coach Darren Baker and Junior Section Chairman Gavin Bateman.
Parents of participating junior players will also be admitted to the ground under the £5 offer.
Please spread the word around the town, bring your friends and family with you and lets see if we can double this Saturday's attendance.#target400
Any Stoke City supporters might also be interested to know that our opponents Basford United are managed by former striker Martin Carruthers who made over 100 appearances for the Potters in the mid-nineties.
So let's see you all down at Harrison Park on Saturday and let's celebrate all that's great about the non-league game.
