MEET THE MANAGER & SHIRT AUCTION FUNDRAISERS PLANNED

As most Blues fans Know Tom Scully injured himself in the last few minutes of the 3-0 victory against Prescot Cables in March. This was a season ending injury for Tom and he has not featured on the pitch since, but he has been a big part of the off field celebrations since Leek Town clinched the Pitching In Northern Premier League Championship West on 1st April

After several visits to the consultant the diagnosis is a grade 3 ligament tear which will require surgery to correct and several months of rehabilitation before Tom gets back to full fitness.

The operation is booked in for Tuesday 30th April and the full cost of the procedure is £9400. The PFA (Professional Footballers Association) are supporting this and are contributing £6500 to the total cost but that still leaves a shortfall of £2900.

Tom is looking to fund raise the shortfall and has set up a donation page which you can access HERE - this has been done by Matt Henderson who is Toms employer through the Coaching business he runs.

In addition to this the Club is organising several fund raising activities including a Meet the Manager Night on Thursday 16th May in the Blues Bar (730pm start). Attendance is by ticket only at a cost of £10 including food. We are also auctioning Toms League Championship winning shirt & donating the net proceeds to the costs of his operation.

In the unlikely event more than £2900 is raised any further surplus will be donated to a worthy charity.

Details for both will be released over the next week.

We know times are very difficult for many at the moment but if you can donate or support in any way it will be greatly appreciated.
