Two second half goals from Andy Hutchinson and Scott Ruthven sealed the points for the Whites against a resurgent Brigg Town.
The result takes the unbeaten run to six and rockets the Gaffer's side up to seventh place in the league.
This was by no means an easy victory. Brigg Town showed spirit and determination to keep the Whites at bay.
It took a while to warm up but when they did, the Whites created chance after chance and peppered the opposition goal with efforts from Josh Nichol, Scott Ruthven and Sean Wright.
It was all one way traffic in the first half and but for some excellent goalkeeping from Brigg's Jody Barford it could have been 5-0 at the interval.
Yet it was Brigg who started the second half the more dangerous and only the upright and bar prevented them from taking the lead.
The Whites rode their luck and in the 72nd minute Sam Duncum crossed for Andy Hutchinson to glance his header into the far corner of the visitors' net.
Two minutes from time it was Duncum yet again who provided a slide rule pass to Scott Ruthven who scored with a beautifully placed left foot strike.
Brigg came close in added time but Robert Peet pulled off a magnificent save to keep a clean sheet.
It was the result not the performance that mattered today. Three valuable points keep the Whites in the hunt for a play off place.
Michael Jacklin's dad made an excellent observation after the game. He reminded me that Brigg hadn't played since Boxing Day whereas the Whites had contested a gruelling draw in shocking conditions only 48 hours previously.
The result came at a cost as Jason Field and Andy Hutchinson both suffered hamstring injuries.
The game showed the grit and determination we have come to expect from the Gaffer's men.
A crowd of over two hundred witnessed an entertaining match which saw Brigg put on a gutsy performance.
However football is all about results and this one proved the Whites are a force to be reckoned with either at home or away.
