Having joined the Lincoln United board part way through last season, Sun-hat owner, Peter Jenkins, has agreed a three-year deal with the Club that will see his company’s branding featured throughout the Ashby Avenue complex and in other marketing initiatives.
Sun-hat Villas and Resorts is based at Greetwell Place, Lincoln and is a leading luxury villa rentals company with properties in The Algarve, Tuscany, Mallorca, Ibiza and Barbados. Sun-hat was founded in 2001 by experienced travel professional, Peter Jenkins, who sought to make customers’ holidays truly memorable. Along with his dedicated team, the aim was to put the customer’s needs and desires at the very heart of the business, focusing on individual needs and requirements.
This became a reality, and with an eclectic range of luxurious villas on offer, Sun-hat soon became the first choice for superior private accommodation in The Algarve. Building on their success, they now include Tuscany, Mallorca, Ibiza and Barbados amongst their collection.
Speaking for Sun-hat Villas and Resorts, Peter Jenkins said: “I am delighted to sponsor Lincoln United at a time in the Club’s 76 year history when it is developing and improving both on and off the pitch.
I would like to welcome anyone with even the remotest interest in football but looking for a fun afternoon out to the Sun-hat Villas Stadium where entrance is just £7.50 for adults and £1.00 for children, we also have some “Dad and a lad (or lass)” and “Mum and a son (or daughter)” for £5.00 tickets available for certain games”
Lincoln United chairman, Malcolm Cowling, said: “I am delighted to see our stadium under new sponsorship. With Peter Jenkins and Sun-hat Villas and Resorts we have someone for whom we all have a great deal of respect and a business that is growing strongly in a prestige niche market in the tourism industry.
As one of our two new Customer Service directors (along with other local businessman, Jason Pipe), Peter brings to Lincoln United the sort of customer satisfaction focus he has developed in his business and this will be important as we look to continually improve the way we operate both on and off the field.”
