Code of Conduct


In line with World Rugby and Scottish Rugby policy, we at Madras Rugby should strive to:

- Ensure the game is played in such a way to maintain the principles of sporting behaviour, and upholding the laws of the game.

- Accept and respect the decisions of match officials and disciplinary bodies, and
support their work.

- Accept and respect handling and management of disciplinary matters by relevant governing bodies.

- Act with integrity and good character in all aspects of rugby-related matters,
irrespective of event or location, representing Madras Rugby in the best possible
manner.

- Shall not breach doping, betting, or corruption regulations.

- Demonstrate and promote the best possible behaviours and values, and as such presenting the best version of themselves in all circumstances.

- Be inclusive and demonstrate a growth mindset, acting to support all individuals and provide a duty of care.

- Abide by all rules, regulations, and codes of conduct and policy, including child
protection and care for vulnerable individuals, concussion protocols, and payment policy.

As a club we adhere to the World Rugby Code of Conduct and we expect all member is to be familiar with the content and abide by the rules set by World Rugby.
