Crewe’s Academy staff were at Drayton’s home game on Saturday to keep an eye on their youngsters.
OLIVER TURTON is a defender who was born in Manchester. He joined Crewe when he was 9 and is a right-back who can also play in midfield. A good two-footed player and is comfortable on the ball. He has come on massive strides during his time in the under-16’s and can make a real contribution going forward. He was called up at the end of the 09/10 season on to the bench for the first team for the first time.
JASON OSWELL is a striker from Northwich who joined Crewe when he was 12. He has played a variety of positions during his time but is now playing as a centre-forward as a tall target man. He is good in the air and good with his back to goal. He also has some good physical qualities including his size and strength, and he is a handful for defenders.
We hope both Oliver and Jason enjoy their time here at Drayton, and we are extremely grateful to the Crewe Academy for allowing them to join us for a spell.
