Former Albion favourite David Syers made his Bradford City debut last night and scored their first goal in a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest.

David has been on trial at Valley Parade since the start of the season and signed non contract terms on Tuesday. City boss Peter Taylor is now considering offering him a contracti and according to the BBC has promised David a decision by the end of this week.

He made the step up to Conference North level with Farsley Celtic and did make a brief return to Ossett after all Farsley players were released. He played only one game though and spent the rest of the season at Harrogate Town.

David is a versatile player and can even play in goal.
