Otley go to Abbeydale to play their first league match their against fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield.
Otley will be looking to avenge the Cross Green result in December, when Otley lost 5-20. Then it was cold and frosty, the weathermen say it will be a little warmer tomorrow. Coming to the crunch end of the season, a win for Otley will see them move two places up the league (if Huddersfield beat Sheffield Tigers and Sedgley beat Leicester Lions). The position looking a lot rosier going into their last home game next weekend against bottom placed Luctonians.
Sheffield have a big ask if they are to avoid relegation, and defeat on Saturday is likely to put a big dent in this ambition. Sheffield are 13 points off 13th place so the odds are stacked against them, but if they win it will keep them afloat for another week. However, it could be out of their hands if Blaydon continue their resurgence against league leaders Sale FC, relegating both Wharfedale and Sheffield at the same time.
Don't forget Saracens play Wharfedale 3rds on Tuesday night in the Aire-Wharfe Cup.
