Redruth v Tonbridge Juddians
Saturday 6th April 2019 – Kick-off 2.00pm (SPREAD THE WORD)

On Saturday the Reds welcome to the Recreation ground Tonbridge Juddians. Our visitors are having a great season and are currently in 3rd place with 105 points and will be keen for a win to keep the pressure up on Canterbury for the play-off place. Before last Saturdays match their top try scorer was Murray Galbraith Lowe with an excellent 14 and their man with the boot is Will Robinson with a massive 280 points. I’d imagine the key phrase for Redruth on Saturday will be ‘no penalties’! Last weekend Juddians sneaked their way to a 31 – 28 home win over relegation threatened Worthing.
After last week’s battling 28 - 10 defeat at league leaders (and almost promoted) Rams RFC the Reds are now in 7th place with 63 points. The top try scorer so far is Dean Bonds with 8 and Aaron Simmonds leads the way with the boot on 118 points. Sam Stevens is now out on his own in terms of games played having appeared in 26 of the 27 league games.
Earlier in the season the Reds lost away at Juddians by 22 – 7. Let’s hope for another entertaining match on Saturday with perhaps a different outcome given home advantage for the Reds.
Come on you Reds.
