Ever wanted to get into coaching rugby ? ...Sheffield may have just the thing for you to get started.

Senior Mens coaching opportunity with Sheffield 2nd and 3rd teams, to join the expanding group already in place for this coming season.

Both teams are successful in there own right, playing in the Yorkshire Merit leagues, with the second at the highest level available playing in the prestigious Yorkshire Merit Premiership.

Both teams require an energetic person to help coordinate, coach manage and encourage the teams for training sessions Tuesday and Thursdays from 7pm until 8:15 pm and guide the team on a Saturday.

The second XV and third XV mens teams play approximately 20 games per season home and away around Yorkshire. Whilst it is a voluntary role (and by no way compulsory) the successful applicant would be expected to attend training particularly on Thursdays and most Saturdays - although the club understands this is not always possible and life gets in the way -

This person whilst not necessary, will ideally have a level 2 coaching qualification and be an enthusiastic volunteer, clear communicator and good organizer. The applying volunteer can be unqualified and follow the club coaching development protocol, to complete 'rugby ready' followed by 'level 2' qualifications which can be subsidised through the club.

For anyone interested then please contact the club Director of Rugby Dan Porter , on email,
