The Daniels take on Northampton Town at the Zeeco stadium on Wednesday evening as they conclude their home friendlies.
Stamford go into the game with skipper Richard Jones confirmed as being out for at least another two weeks with an ankle injury. It's also unlikely full back Nathan Fox and forward Jordan Smith will feature although both should return in next 7 days.
James Jepson has a slight groin strain, again not serious and Dan Clements will again not be available to start game due to work commitments. Lewis Carr misses the next two games as is away on holiday.
Greg smith plays his final game before a minor operation which will mean he'll miss the Bourne game. Andy Hall returns to the squad after returning from holiday.
Manager David Staff states 'we are like every other team looking at different combinations and trying a few things. The most important thing though is to keep the squad fit and injury free. The last we need is going to mid August and having the lads carrying knocks. It is a little false at present with so many unavailable especially defensively but its preseason and generally we are pleased with the squad. The competition for places is what we need and at times last season we lacked options. If we keep this squad fit we'll certainly have that'.
