The Millers were held to a 2-2 draw by Evo Stick premier side Weymouth in a cracking FA Cup 1st qualifying tie at Little Testwood Farm..

Weymouth took the lead after just 8 minutes, Joyce allowed space in the box, turned and fired home. The Millers were level on 34 minutes, a Danny Steer corner headed home by Craig Feeney at the far post, capping off a fine first half display. Ten minutes into the second half, The Millers took rhe lead, after a foul on Feeney, Sammy Carter hit the resulting free kick in to the top corner and looked to be heading for an upset,Weymouth had some good efforts on goal and brought the best out of Tony Harrop who had a tremdous game but Weymouth finally drew level, this time the ball was given away on the edge of the box and the Weymouth left winger fired home, the hosts kept going and could and maybe should have won it late on, a sizzling effort by Steve Green was well saved and both Feeney and Carter were again foiled by the Weymouth keeper. The bumper crowd of 230 were treated to a cracking game in the hot sunshine and were well looked after by the chairman and the committee who put in a lot of hard work to make sure the day went smoothly and The Millers matched and at times bettered the team from two division above and will feel disappointed not to have won it. The Replay is on Tuesday night at The Bob Lucas Stadium
