Rocks away defeat in seven goal thriller

Saturday saw a 7 goal thriller at the Bens Takeaway Stadium.

Tytherington Rocks took the lead when Nate Croot slotted home from the spot after Kyle head had been fouled when through on goal

Tytherington then went 2-0 up thanks to 24th league goal of the season from Kyle Head after good work down the wing from Andrew Peterson

Stonehouse grew into the game after a few half chances and reduced the deficit with a goal from Spencer Martin

Two goals from Nick Humphreys put the home team 3-2 heading to the break.

The second half started slow for Tytherington with the rocks conceding a 4th goal from Luke Soule

Nate Croot then headed in a corner to reduce the deficit for the rocks and the lads started to push for the equaliser

The home side had Richard Thwaite sent off late in the game but the home side held on to take all 3 points.
