Despite a mini heatwave for the weekend, the 2016 Welwyn Memorial 7's saw some fantastic rugby played out over two pools, with over 100 spectators enjoying the sunshine and rugby.

The shenanagins continued late into the evening at the annual hog roast and Sh!t Sh!rt After Party and the day proved to be fantastic all round. All teams have committed to attending next year, with a date in July to be confirmed so keep your eyes peeled.

Funds were raised for the recently launched JOCA committe - the club wide welfare committee helping to signpost those in need to the support that can help them the most
