WILLINGTON AFC is a football club based in Willington County Durham England They joined the Northern League in 1911 They have reached the 1st Rd of the FA Cup twice in their history In 1950 they won the FA Amateur Cup For the 2013/14 season they are members of the Ebac Northern League They play at the Hall Lane ground in Willington Their traditional local rivals are Crook Town The club has had a number of famous players going on to play in the Football League England Internationals FA Cup Winners including Joe Banks-Spurs George Tweedy-Grimsby Town Billy Ashurst-Notts County Ray Pointer-Burnley Andy Graver-Lincoln City Managers including Malcolm Allison Alan Durban Eddie Kyle Alan Murray Alan Shoulder Stan Cummins The current manager is Gary Innes.
