Abercarn won the toss and stuck the visitors in and Jez and Tom opened the bowling and kept things tight. tom finally getting the first wicket when Llanarth's opener played across the line.
That was the only break through in the first 20 overs as missed opportunities were a plenty with a number of catches going down in the deep.
After drinks Conor was on a hat trick bowling his medium pace and we pegged them back a fair bit, and Leachy bowled tight at the end of the innings to finish with 3-20 as the visitors struggled to 158-6 with Mark Baxter getting 69 not out.
The reply didn't start well with Ali going for a duck, but Millsy and Leachy grafted until Baxter bowled Millsy for 16 then there was a collapse as Chilts, Guns and Tom fell to poor shots in quick succession.
When Leachy was dismissed for 32 the score was 64-6 and it didn't get any better as Dafydd was bowled first ball. Jez hung around and top scored with 33 but the Carn was all out for 110.
A poor performance and one which needs to be improved on quickly with a massive test against top of the league next week, plenty of practice this week!
