AFC Alsager are very proud to announce that our FA Charter Standard Annual Health Check has been completed for the 2018/19 Season and we have been awarded the highest level of accreditation.

Launched in 2001, The FA Charter Standard Programme is the FA’s accreditation scheme for grassroots clubs and leagues. Its goal is to raise standards in grassroots football, support the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding them for their commitment and achievements.

With this in mind, FA Charter Standard accreditation is awarded to clubs and leagues rigorously adjudged to be well-run and sustainable – and which prioritise child protection, quality coaching and implementation of the Respect programme.

There are three levels of FA Charter Standard Awards for clubs:
• FA Charter Standard Club for youth and adult clubs: the entry-level accreditation
• FA Charter Standard Development Club: for clubs clearly enhancing the quality and scope of their football offering
• FA Charter Standard Community Club: acknowledging the most advanced level of club development and football provision.

The club is delighted that for the 2018/2019 season we have again been awarded FA Charter Standard Community Club ( In bold above) the highest available award.

This marks another fantastic achievement by the hardworking volunteers at AFC Alsager. Tom Lee is the National Clubs Operations Manager for the FA and he had this to say on AFC Alsager's award of Community Club, "You represent the very best in grassroots football. The accrediation certifies that your club upholds values that appeal to players, coaches, officals and supporters. It demonstrates that your club offers a place where everyone can enjoy football.
